Hello. I have practised yoga for over 25 years, and trained as a Sivananda Yoga teacher in 2002. After teaching general classes for some time, I was diagnosed with MS in 2007. My interest then grew in practising and teaching yoga more gently. I trained to teach yoga to people with MS in 2010, and taught at the MS Therapy Centre in Warminster.
I am also a qualified Yoga Therapist, having done my training with the Devon School of Yoga. I regularly attend yoga and meditation retreats to develop my own practice.
I completed the 8 week Mindfulness Meditation ( MBSR / MBCT ) course, in 2016..
Alongside this, I worked for many years in the NHS, in community mental health, health promotion, and with people with common mental health problems.
My classes are therefore ideal for people with health problems, especially where there is there is some overlap between the emotional and physical.
I aim to bring together the experiences and ideas gained from both my yoga and mental health backgrounds, to help people become more aware of and connected to their whole being, their health and peace of mind
